die

too little sleep...

I have a short day of work because of some crap I have to take care of tonight (after work). I also need to order new broadband service but that can wait until the end of the week.

Yesterday, I caught a networking design error which, after the customary interchange of pointless emails, was admitted to and queued to be corrected. Actually, in all fairless, the interchange was quite mild this time around. It often gets up into the 5-6 salvo range. This time, it was one 'oops' response. Perhaps they listen to me now. Asymmetrical routing is NOT a fault-tolerance feature ;)

Of course, today I get to check (again) their configs and the performance. So far, the speed is not entirely acceptable.
